Didn’t realise that this is my first post in July! Wow.. it’s almost the end of the month and I haven’t written a thing here. The past month has been one big roller coaster ride – its gone by at break-neck speed, taken me to stupefying heights and stomach-churning lows – and often left me dizzy with tears in my eyes. At this rate, I have been left with almost no energy to blog or sometimes with so many thoughts that I have felt the need to pop some Valium (don’t worry, I haven’t done that, yet!).
However, in the middle of all this chaos, I came across this blog written by my friend Prerna about the positivity experiment. It’s a simple experiment.. you just write about 5 things that you are grateful for, everyday, for a week. If you’ve read my earlier post about gratitude, then you’ll know I am a great believer in the attitude of gratitude (though I need to practice it more :)). With the tumultuous time I have been having the past month… this is exactly the kind of simple turn-around that I need.. so here goes.
Today, I am grateful for:
1. Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood:
I went for their show in Hyderabad today.. I laughed till my cheeks hurt and my sides ached! They’re really as good as they are on TV.. and it’s real fun to watch them live 🙂
2. My mom!
She got us the passes for the show 🙂
3. My work with Freedom Under Construction
Though I crib about it, I complain to my friends about it, it’s really been a great learning experience. It throws up new challenges everyday. My life has not been boring since I started working on it and.. I have learned many new things about myself. Most importantly, I have learned that even though I may have trouble trusting myself – there are people who love me always – Valerie, Santhan, Sheetal, Apoorva, Kiran, Anil, Pannu, Mamma, Papa, my grandmother, Alysha, Mujeeb, Sesh, Nanda – thank you.
4. My beautiful new computer
I don’t know what I have been doing all these months without a Mac 🙂
5. My Ascended Masters iPhone App
Well, I am actually thanking an App! But this is more than just an App (Apoorva and Santhan will vouch for that one!). I use it to do readings for my friends, I use it guide me in many ways. I really thank the Ascended Masters for coming into my life in this way..
And to you, thank you for reading this post 🙂
